Homework for Tuesday April 2
  • Study for a  very short quiz on conditionals. To study: Focus on Grammar/High-Intermediate/ Unit 17, Unit 18.  You can do the practice quiz for chapter 18. You could also try the practice test for Chapter 19, but skip questions 2, 6, 9, 13,  & 20  because we did not discuss “hope” and “wish.”
  • Review for the final exam, which will be on Thursday April 4.  Prepare at least one question in advance and bring it to class.  Ways you could study include:

    • Study old quizzes.
    • If you need extra practice with adjective clauses or the conditional complete exercises from the worksheets that you received in class.  Answers will be in a folder in the lab.
    • Adjective clause practice:  Focus on Grammar/High-Intermediate/Unit 20, Unit Test 8
    • More adjective clause practice:  Focus on Grammar/Advanced/Unit 16
    • If you would like me to give you additional practice exercises on other grammar points that we have discussed this term, please stop by my office or email me with the request.  I will be happy to find a worksheet for you or work with you individually.
