Program Guidelines
The following are expected of all TIUA students:
Successful completion of English I - V (Spring Semester).
Successful completion of at least two (2) TIUA elective courses and all corresponding Applied English courses; three (3) elective courses are recommended.
Three (3) TOEFL examinations (Spring, Summer, Fall).
Regular "College Learning in the U.S." attendance and completion of all assignments, projects, and reports.
Successful completion of one Willamette University course (Fall Semester).
Participation in International Peer Coach (IPC) meetings and activities (Spring) and in residence hall meetings and activities (Spring, Summer and Fall)..
Participation in community volunteer service activities and in other university events and activities is strongly encouraged.
Full-time study requirement
TIUA students are required to study full-time during each of the three semesters (Spring, Summer, and Fall).
