Kaneko Day Camp is an annual event put on by the students and staff at TIUA. Day Camp is a great way for children to get a taste of Japanese culture. Campers are divided into groups of 10-15 children and they attend a variety of 30 minute sessions on:
DAY CAMP REGISTRATION Kaneko Day Camp 2010 wil be held Monday, August 16 through Friday, August 20, 2010 at Tokyo International University of America, Salem, OR The Camp runs from 8:30AM until Noon each day. Friday's Camp ends about 12:45 pm, as there is a lunch for all participants, a chance for the parents to tour the classrooms, and a Japanese dance demonstration.Download an application for participation
Scholarships There are scholarships available to students of limited means. These funds are available through a grant by the Salem-Kawagoe Sister Cities, Inc. organization. They are for $50 each which may be used towards tuition for day camp. These are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please download the following file and return it with your application and full payment.
