Professor Tabet's Reading/Writing class (Spring 2007) went to Sherie and Bruce Vandergaw's sheep farm in Dallas, Oregon, to learn about and meet some sheep. In the novel the students are reading this semester, the main character meets and touches sheep for the first time, and the class decided to find out what is was like to meet and touch sheep for the first time too!
