Special Programs

In this four week course, students practice all sections of the TOEFL -- Listening, Structure, Reading and Vocabulary.  There is a balance between work on exercises and classroom instruction.   Students are encouraged to ask questions and to learn how to analyze all of the specific kinds of test items.  In addition to practice tests, student take a full TOEFL at the end of the course.  [ More ]

Tokyo Jogakkan Girls' High School was founded in 1888 and sends a group of students to TIUA for a two week visit to Oregon each summer. During their time here, local high school mentors spend time in small groups and attend classes, do educational fieldtrips, and vist many of the highlights of Oregon, including Silver Falls State Park, and Central Oregon.
