How to use mixi

     First of all, you need a friend who has already joined mixi to invite you to join.  After you received the mail about invitation from your friend, you click according to the explanation of the e-mail.  In order to register with mixi, you need to make a profile page.  On the profile page, you should write your name, address, birthday, age, hobby, and anything you want to write.   Furthermore you select who can see your diary.  For example, only friends, everyone, friends of your friends.  Lastly, click the "completion".  That's all about registration.  Then you can write a diary on mixi. 
     Next, I will explain about how to write a diary on mixi.  Click the "write a diary".  And, you write the title and some sentences that you wish.  Also you can insert pictures if you want.  You click the "browser".  You select the pictures from the picture's box that you have on the computer or the cell phone.  Then, you click the "check the detail", also you click "make up".  After this process, you and your friends can write comments.  When you read your friend's diary on mixi, there is a button of "make a comment".  Click this button, you can write the comment that you want to write.  Then you click the "check the detail", also you click the "write in".  That's all. 

Next, I received the answers about mixi from 8 people.  These people are TIUA students and Professor.  My first question was, "do you know mixi?"  All people answered "yes".  But my second question, 3 people didn't know how to use mixi.  And 80% of the people chose ,"write diary" ,in my question that, "what is your favorite topic in mixi?"  Next, question 4 "how many times do you use mixi?", 25% of the people answered "everyday", and "once a month".   And 50% of the people chose "never".  The final question was, "please write examples, if you have ideas of new topic for mixi".  1 person answered, "more easy to put in a movie". 
     In conclusion, I found many Japanese people are using mixi now.  But their frequency of use varies.   I hope we will make a lot of friends and enjoy in mixi.
