My survey topic is about the Internet radio & radio. I asked questions to 7 people and all of them answered my survey. My first question was “Do you know the Internet radio RADILOG?” and 71.4% people answered No. In the next question, 42.9% people answered “Yes” to the question whether you have the question earphones and a microphone for your computer, so they have both of them. Every person who I asked the questions answered what they like to listen to the radio in the third question. Moreover, 71.4% people are interested in telling someone about themselves or their favorite things according to the results of the fourth question. And in my last question, I asked what they would like to do in their program if they were the DJ of a radio program. 85.7 % answered they want to play their favorite music in their program. In conclusion, most people like to listen the radio and are interested in broadcasting on the radio. |

Now, let’s learn how to broadcast with Internet Radio. We use this Internet site “RADILOG”. At first, I will explain some words I will use in my presentation. RADILOG : “RADILOG” is a compound word of “radio” & “blog”. We can broadcast the radio, pod-cast the radio and write the blog with this website. It’s free to get an account and to broadcast the radio program. Pod-Cast : A Pod-cast is a system the listener can listen to the data by our voice at any time when we paste it to the blog. You can register it in i-Pod. So, I will introduce how to use RADILOG. First, prepare the PC microphone, and go to the sight of “RADILOG”. The URL is http://radilog.jp/. Next, push the button of 新規登録 (get a new account). When you push the button, write your email address and decide a password. Then, set the password at less than 12 characters and more than 3 characters with lowercase letters. After that, fill out the blanks. There are translated words that you have to fill out. When you finish it, push the button 次へ進む (go to next). When you confirm your registration, check your email. You will see the next sentence. 下記の URL をクリックして登録を完了してください。(Please push URL written under this sentence.) So follow it. Then, go back to the homepage of RADILOG and login. After that, decide the category of your radio, and push the button “設定”(ok). Now, push the button “ラジオ放送スタート (start broadcasting)”. Also, you will be asked some questions, so push “同意する (agree)” or “確認 (confirm)” to all questions. At last, push the button of “ラジオStart (Start broadcasting)”. If you want to do Pod-Casting (not a broadcast) you need to prepare the IC recorder or download the recording system (http://pino.to/choroku/download.htm) on the Internet and record your voice. After that, go to MY PAGE after you login. Click on the button of “記事(article)” and click the mark of picture and choose your recording of your voice. Well, what should you speak about in your program? I will tell you some ideas. For example, you tell can about your life, tell information of things that you recommend, play your favorite music, hear and advise the trouble of the listener and sing. I often talk about my life in America and my favorite music in English or Japanese. HOWEVER, you have to think about COPY RIGHT. If you want to play your favorite tune or sing your favorite songs, you have to get permission from someone who has COPY RIGHT to do so. You may not be able to do that.
